What to do when not feeling great?
Draw lines, of course!
I know, I know. Lines in different colors. So creative!

walrus bird
The gist is that someone said they would hate to be a walrus, because of being monstrously fat and only having two tiny flippers for propulsion. Someone else noted that walruses are tremendously graceful in the water. Or, in space.
Hence:
Behold the graceful space walrus!

see that gift bird? don't look at it. don't.
Do you know what the Mississippi motto is?
By valor and arms
Doesn't that just stir your heart and make you bold and brave?
My quest with this project was to make Eric a Mississippi shirt that doesn't look like a Mississippi shirt. I feel rather successful.

States may sing their songs of praise
With waving flags and hip-hoo-rays,
Let cymbals crash and let bells ring
Cause here's one song I'm proud to sing.
With waving flags and hip-hoo-rays,
Let cymbals crash and let bells ring
Cause here's one song I'm proud to sing.
Go, Mississippi, keep rolling along,
Go, Mississippi, you cannot go wrong,
Go, Mississippi, we're singing your song,
M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I
Go, Mississippi, you cannot go wrong,
Go, Mississippi, we're singing your song,
M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I
Go, Mississippi, you're on the right track,
Go, Mississippi, and this is a fact,
Go, Mississippi, you'll never look back,
M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I
Go, Mississippi, and this is a fact,
Go, Mississippi, you'll never look back,
M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I
Go, Mississippi, straight down the line,
Go, Mississippi, ev'rything's fine,
Go, MIssissippi, it's your state and mine,
M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I
Go, Mississippi, ev'rything's fine,
Go, MIssissippi, it's your state and mine,
M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I
Go, Mississippi, continue to roll,
Go, Mississippi, the top is the goal,
Go, Mississippi, you'll have and you'll hold,
M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I
Go, Mississippi, the top is the goal,
Go, Mississippi, you'll have and you'll hold,
M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I
Go, Mississippi, get up and go,
Go, Mississippi, let the world know,
That our Mississippi is leading the show,
M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I
Go, Mississippi, let the world know,
That our Mississippi is leading the show,
M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I
twenty-seventh bird
Back to school. Use traditional school materials like number 2 pencils or lined paper notebooks to make something nontraditional.
Chris came up with the concept for this one!
I used colored pencil shavings to make a picture. Chris wanted me to do a person's face, but my skill levels are depleted.
Awwwwwww......
It's so nice!

twenty-fifth bird
Make something portable (or that seems portable) that normally isn't.
I did a lot of pondering with this one. Not really liking anything that came to mind, I settled.
I call it "Bottled Water."

ninth bird
This project was much less time consuming than my previous projects and had the charm of being utterly ridiculous and stress-relieving.
Work on the other hand. Pick a medium you're comfortable with, then work with your nondominant hand--if you usually favor your right hand then only use your left and vice-versa.
Ok, we won't talk about the structure of that sentence.
I decided to draw because I didn't want to cover myself in paint or glue or accidentally adhere something to something else. See first bird.

Yes, I drew this completely left-handed.
Proof!
